The Gomco 6000/6003 surgical portable suction apparatus is durably engineered to provide suction by alternating the expansion and contraction of air within a cylinder at regular intervals designed for suction of gastric fluids without harming the sensitive gastric walls of the stomach (Gastric Lavage). The Gomco 270 is a portable tabletop Thermotic Suction Pump used for this purpose, and the Gomco 6003 is the same Thermotic Pump in a larger, portable upright cabinet.

Solid-state vacuum control system adjusted by a vacuum control switch to nominal settings of 90 and 120 mm hg.
